I am an assistant professor of technical communication at the University of Idaho.

My research interests include grounded studies of deliberative rhetoric, visual communication, and technical writing. Running through each are questions about research methodologies, the epistemic nature of rhetoric, and the role of technologies in the construction of knowledge.
